Paradox Counseling Services, LLC is a private company that provides therapeutic services to age 7 to adults who are experiencing difficulties with managing life effectively. Paradox focuses on developing people toward optimal health: physically, emotionally and spiritually. We also offer individual/family therapy in the home setting.
Therapeutic services focuses on depression, anxiety, assertiveness training and spiritual matters. Paradox provides a safe, empathic and non-judgmental environment where the main objective is to assist clients to let go of false truths that has contributed to them being stuck.​
Paradox Counseling Services offers personal and professional development services. We offer Supervision for registered MHC's and MFT's interns, life coaching for those who are not in need of traditional counseling and Spiritual counseling for individuals and families impacted by addiction. Paradox also provides online counseling to Florida residents and out of state clients.
During therapy, we will use several techniques and interventions to assist the client in developing a more flexible view of life that would bring about wanted and lasting change. Here are some of the techniques and interventions used: Reframing, Empathy, Symptom Prescription, Therapeutic Paradox, Ordeal, Restraining Strategies, Empowerment and Double Bind. Paradox Counseling Services coined this concept as Restored.
